I was attracted to these strings because of reading about their special polymer, I'm not sure about all of the details, but I do know they're my favorites. I experienced the difference particularly clearly last week when I picked up a cheap Washburn c5ce and just replaced the three trebles, now it's a beautiful instrument. The stock strings had sounded kind of plasticky.
