The sound and feel of the legendary SVT is alive and well in the SVT-212AV. The Ampeg SVT-212AV is a more portable alternative to a full sized SVT cab. Ideal for bleed-sensitive recording situations where the SVT810AV can be too loud and live situations where it can be too large, the SVT-212AV is designed using Ampeg's legendary Infinite Baffle system for maximum speaker efficiency and true Ampeg tone. Bang for you buck !!!

If you love the low end power of Ampeg, then this bad boy is exactly what your looking for... Solid birch cab with 600 watts of 2 x 12 Eminence speakers blast air thru your chest as if you were standing behind an F-14 at take off... The 12's provide the much needed warm round bottom end of 15's and they give you the attack of tight, punchy 10's.. This cab is extremely well built, tight and balanced.. Its light, for its size, but heavy enough to last the test of time. I highly recommend this cab in this price range over all others. AMPEG- just do what you know is right...

Kind Of A Slam Dunk.

I've not "needed" a full SVT stack for a while now. Rarely took my SVT-VR past three or four. Started using lower watt tube heads a few years ago and held off buying this as I was using a used Avatar B212 that I'd gotten a bargain on. It was adequate. Never great, but good enough so I held off on buying the 212av. Should've bought it years ago. I'm using it with a locally built boutique 100watt head, a vintage Ampeg V4, and a Ampeg PF50T. Everything sounds great. It's got that classic SVT tone that you can feel and now I can push my amps and get some amazing grind without causing structural damage to practice space. I'm having a hard imagining that I would need anything else. Of course, I AM curious as to what that Aguilar 212 cab that costs almost twice as much sounds like. Nope. Be happy. This cab is killer.

"AMAZING" cabinet

I honestly was a little reluctant to buy this cabinet because it seamed to small for venues i play but geez i was surprised!!.The punch and clarity is amazing for its size,i have been using ampeg pr410hlf's and this cabinet is "half" the size and weight but TRULY delivers!,Joey Moreno ,looks like i may buy a second one soon !!!!!
