First off, thanks to the Sweetwater team. I received one that had no output, they overnighted me a new one. Now that I have my semi-pro system up and running along with two Yamaha CXS18XLF 2000W 18" passive subwoofers (also bought through Sweetwater) this system is ready for some work outside the living room. I may do two more of each.

JBL SRX812 - Insanely flat and SMOOOTH frequency response. The sound is crystal clear, lifelike, warm, and has no "shrill outta control" highs like so many other PA speakers. These are slightly power hungry, but will produce high fidelity sound with no high volume attitude or distortion. I am running a Behringer NX6000 (about 1,600w per channel RMS @ 8 ohms) to each of the them. No issues cranking them up and letting them sing.

WHY PAY SO MUCH FOR PASSIVE PA SPEAKERS? These are better than anything you'll hear out there...even audiophile home audio. I have owned Bose, Klipsch, JBL (Model 96 monitors), even vintage Radio Shack speakers when they were into that in the 1980s. Anyways, these are built for combat. Well made, incredible sounding, and worth every penny. I am not a fan of active speakers with plate amplifiers...never seem to mate up well. OBTW - my rig has Bluetooth anyways.
