Skb stand case

If you're setting up PA for your band or DJ rig you need a box like this. And this is the best box. It looks professional and is.
I wondered if the smaller one would do the job but after measuring all the things I needed to have in this box this is the right one. I have room for more mic stands and the odd piece here and there. I try holds my Hercules guitar tree.
I leave this thing parked upright on the back of the stage in plain sight cause it looks great.
On the practical side, it rolls great but the wheels are small so keep it on the sidewalk and don't go through the grass or dirt.
It goes in the van first when you're loading and you pile other things on it.
If you're making a sandwich it's a table.

The ONLY trapcase self hauling drummer should have

This is my second SKB 4816 trap case.
I sold my last one with a drum kit, thinking it was too heavy for me to deal with.
Wound up missing it dearly.

Went thru 3 Gator 48" rolling bags, at $100 a pop, don't last; wheels break, seams tear, they sag.

This new generation of SKB has the nice vinyl latches that work smoother than the old metal.
Much improved vinyl carry handles too.
Only con is tie down straps are on the bottom half of the case only.
I miss them in the lid as well.
Very handy for strapping extra items into the lid; a drum rug, mic stands, or Bose L1 speaker towers.

I might be selling off my other drums and going Cajon, but will still use this case for later items.

Love it.
