Reviews

Want to Love them, but Can't :/
First off, I'll say, the tone of these strings is excellent. Very broken-in sounding right out of the package. Tone has a nice round low end with low-mids growl that sounds "luxury" to my ears. So, I really want to love these strings. Unfortunately, the tension is far higher than I want, and they don't make any lighter set than this. On a 25.5" scale length 7 string, they almost all feel too tight, with the only exception possibly being the low B. If you just chugga chug on the low strings it feels fine, but as soon you start moving up the neck onto the unwound strings, watch out, it will feel like you're playing on a cheese slicer if you try to bend anything. Wish they offered these excellent sounding strings in a reasonably-gauged set for people who actually use the high strings.
