A Very Versatile Direct Box!

The SC700CT A/V direct box from Switchcraft is ideal for connecting the outputs of MP3 players, PCs, laptops, CD players, and other audio devices to audio consoles, mic preamps, effects processors, house sound systems, and other equipment with 3-pin XLR inputs. The SC700CT converts the outputs of high-impedance stereo or mono line level audio devices and musical instruments to low-impedance, balanced and isolated mic level signals. All stereo inputs on the SC700CT are summed to mono and output to a single 3-pin XLR connector.

Excellent Choice

Needed a way to send my stereo signal from my Focusrite to a mono channel in my church's FOH board. This is perfect. Inexpensive and practically noiseless. AAA +++

Great AVDI

Ignore my old review. Was hoping I could just update or remove it but I don't think I can. I wasn't experienced enough when I wrote the last one. The DI is awesome and I was an idiot. The details I thought I knew you should seriously ignore.

cool tool

This is a very cool tool plug in your laptop cd player or phone and no noise good clean siginal. it sums your sterio signel to mono which is what you need in live sound. they work great.

Switchcraft does it again!

I always wait until 30 days of use until I write a review...This is exactly what was needed! I work with several different people at several different rodeos from Timers to Video Screen companies. They all hook into my mixing board and you will get numerous amounts of buzz, hum and static from numerous different cords of their own creation, damaged equipment or general lack of quality. When I get any of that, I plug them into the Switchcarft SC700CT and all those weird noises just disappear. It has several different plug ins and outputs so no need for adapters and such. Special thanks to my salesman Ben Porter for the recommendation. He always has the answer or finds it for me.
