Quiet Tipless Sticks with a Unique Sound

Many drumsticks facilitate very soft playing. However, what Sweetwater drummers love about these Meinl Stick & Brush Nano Sticks is that they don’t just sound quieter; they also add a distinct tone and color that’s all their own. This key attribute is largely due to their tipless construction: it gives your cymbals exceptional definition and makes your drums’ top-end frequencies cut through anything. Meinl Nano Sticks are ideal for quieter gigs where normal drumsticks would be too loud, but they also make a great addition to your stick bag simply for the unique sounds they can lend to softer parts of songs. Finally, while you may be worried that the Nano Sticks’ thin diameter makes them easily breakable, fear not: they’re made from American hickory, so they have a strength and durability that bely their diminutive size.

Meinl Stick & Brush Nano Sticks Features:

  • Light, tipless drumsticks for quieter applications where normal sticks are too loud
  • Designed in collaboration with Meinl Stick & Brush artist Arthur Hnatek
  • Exceptional definition on cymbals with attenuated wash
  • Loads of top-end attack for drums with little-to-no low-end frequencies
  • Perfect for small clubs and cafes or for adding a unique vibe to quiet sections of songs
  • Made from American hickory for supreme strength and durability

Durable Sticks
I bought these because I sometimes play on smaller clubs and wanted to give them a try. Once you get used to the length of the stick, you will love them. They are durable as I bought 3 pair and played about 40 gigs with them so far and haven't broken one stick. I play pretty hard as well. They may wear a little, but so does every other stick. Buy these, you won't be sorry.
They're Perfect!

I play in a duo and was playing with brushes. We play classic rock, pop and a little country. I was playing with brushes because we're still trying to sound more acoustic. I tried the nano sticks and was impressed. They are very consistent, where the brushes were not, because it was difficult to make the snare to sound the same after each stroke. My guitar player loves the way they sound as well. They take a little getting used to be because they're thin, but once you do, you'll be happy you made this purchase.

Excellent! And Shockingly Durable!
Bought these to use in church because I didnt want to use "rod" style sticks (too muddy). These let you play normally but at 25% volume. They also are quite sturdy and held up great! Ording two more pair now!
great sticks for low volume
These are the best for any low volume playing. Better than any rods which break too quickly
Low volume stick for the lightest playing
I'm a light hitting player and this stick is nice for low velocity articulation. Being over 17" in length, the additional rebound proves useful for ghost notes and fast ride triplets. I keep in it in my stick bag in place of hotrods for low volume settings. Being thinner, it works better than a typical drumstick to lift the snare wires when tuning the resonant head. Don't use it on low volume cymbals whose holes grate the fine tip.
