I was at first a little apprehensive on what the acoustics of the room would be. Because when I mixed a song the song would not travel. Always had to much bass, not enough reverb and the delays never would sound right. But after using the Auralex Roominator Deluxe Plus Kit and the Adam 12 Bass traps and thanks to Auralex/Sweetwater for the free room analysis. They gave me a blueprint which showed me how to set up the sound treatment in the control room which makes all the difference now. I am completely blown away with the difference in my mixes now. What I hear in my monitors is what I hear in other sound equipment now. Thanks to Sweetwater for the help in getting my mixes under control. Special Thanks to Stuart Niven who is our sales rep. @ Sweetwater for all the excellent advise he has offered me from the beginning to the end of my project. My Hats Off...........THANKYOU!

If you have a room dedicated to practice, rehearsal or recording, you owe it to yourself to invest in sound treatment for the room. On the Auralex web site there is a link that allows you to submit a diagram of your room for analysis. One of their Application Specialists will analyze your room and send copies to you and your Sweetwater Sales Engineer. Do yourself a favor and order, at the same time, a can of Foamtak spray adhesive...you'll need it (the double sided adhesive strips that come with the order will not work well for all of the panels, especially the bass traps). Following Auralex's room analysis diagram and a few instructions that they sent, installation was quick and easy. The results were immediate and impressive. My entire band rehearses in this room, and we can hear each other so much better...I can't wait to start recording in there. 4.5 out of 5, and that's only because I had to order the Foamtak after trying the adhesive strips. Well worth the investment!

I think the product is great...but the sticky tape is not. I recently tried to install this in my music room. My walls are heavily textured and the sticky tape either falls off the walls or the product falls off the sticky tape. Once I figure out to hang the product without it falling off the wall, I think it will make the room that much greater.
