Ok so I've had it now for a couple of weeks and I am super impressed with this pedal! The sound is great, you can adjust just about everything, it's nice sturdy metal not cheap plastic, all the knobs are nice and easy to work. Sounds really cool with my Ibanez 12 string acoustic electric! If you want sitar sound on anything you plug in without having to own and learn the actual instrument...which I happen to own...18 strings of madness lol...then buy this pedal!!! Thanks again to Logan Miller from Sweetwater for answering all my questions and being so helpful...

While this obviously isn't a sound you are going to use on every song, it would be an awesome pedal to have to feature some sort of creative, showcase number with cool playing and sounds.

read the manual first and practice scales in different keys so you'll understand how to develop a style.

Sounds amazingly like an electric sitar

Very easy to start using right away. Sounds like the real thing, to me at least. Make sure you have plenty of reverb and maybe a little delay turned on, too, and it's perfect.

As a huge fan of psychedelic music, I employ this pedal regularly to add an exotic, sitar vibe to my tunes. The timbre controls let me dial in the right tone and increase the sympathetic vibrations, something you can't do with an actual sitar.

This is a really unique pedal capable of sounds difficult to obtain in such a small package. I find myself creating all sorts of usable tones, some "sitarish" and some not. All the options seem deep, but are easily naviagated after just a few minutes. My favorite use of the pedal uses the separate drone output only and feeds that to loopers, delays, etc. to create textural pads.
