High-tech Shock Mount that Won't Wear Out!

Free from rubber bands, bungee cords, or synthetic bushings, the Royer RSM-SS1 Sling-Shock shock mount decouples your Royer ribbon mic from any standard microphone stand via an innovative spring-tensioned suspension harness. At Sweetwater, we were particularly impressed by how slim this shock mount is, making mic positioning easy, even in tight spaces. The adjustable grip and felt-lined interior hold your microphone securely, without threatening its finish. The RSM-SS1 Sling-Shock is compatible with Royer's R-121, R-122, SF-1 and virtually any other cylindrical microphone that's about 1" in diameter (give or take about 1/8").

Perfect companion to the Royer R-121

This shock mount is engineered as well as the Royer microphones. It holds my R-121 extremely securely.

Solid and safe. I feel very comfortable with my expensive ribbons on these.

Sling-Shock mike holder

The Sling-Shock mic holder is sturdy and firmly hold the mic. The design keeps unwanted vibrations transmitted through the mic stand and cable from reaching the mic. Using this for live performance it's not bulky, but looks great.

When Royer Labs got their Technical Grammy in 2013, they couldn't wait to come to Sweetwater to show it off. That's made it easy for the engineers at Sweetwater Studios to use Royer ribbons for close-miking amps and getting deep into drum kits and acoustic pianos.
