As advertised

Solid. Functional. Good product. The only issue is that the instruction manual for assembly does not match the product very well. The instructions try to explain the assembly of several different related products from the same company, which makes them mostly unhelpful for putting together this box. That's not really a problem, because it's incredibly simple to put together. But I would recommend not even reading the instructions

Sweetwater is now my first stop shop for my gear!

I rarely rate or review anything, but I make this exception because I don't live close to Sweetwater and I've always thought buying local for some of my gear always meant I would get it faster and better condition. If you're like me throw that out the window.
I wanted this same item and had to special order from this major chain down the road. They said 10 days. That turned into 2 and a half weeks before I called Matthew (actually about another item) and I mentioned what I was trying to do with this rack. Of course he had to jab at me a couple times with "why didn't you call me first" thing.
Not only was it not backordered , it was in stock , and arrived in my hands in 5 days. I ordered it on a Saturday, it arrived in perfect condition (double boxed) and I had it for the weekend!
I never thought I would order a guitar online but now I believe I will. It's like having a personal buyer, who buy the way , has never pushed a sale on me. So with the 55 point inspection and Matthew to check the action and such I think I will end up with more than I expect. Lol no pressure Matt!!

Overpriced

It works, but feel it is overpriced. It it is basically an IKEA rack. For the amount spent you think they could throw in some rack screws, but no, I have to go and order some separately.

An OK Rack

This was easy to put together and it looks fine on my desk. It's pressboard, so no fancy wood. It fit in my 4 one-space items and the mounting holes lined up well. The main issue is that the bracket in which you screw in your devices does not appear to be reliably threaded for standard rack mount screws. About 1/2 took a standard screw the first time, all the others cross-threaded. I forced a few, but you risk getting one stuck 1/2 way in. I had an extra bag of rack screws and just kept trying different ones until I found a set that would mount all the devices. So it's functional, but I think it was just a little more of a pain than it needed to be. It could probably be priced lower for what it is. Maybe Ikea can make one?
