Perfectly Weighted Hickory Drumsticks

Promark Rebound drumsticks are some of the most consistent sticks you’ll ever play. Each pair is crafted from fine American hickory before being lacquered and treated. Before shipment, sticks are weight and pitch matched, so each pair is perfectly mated. Drummers at Sweetwater note that Promark’s Rebound profile shifts the weight toward the butt of the stick, so they feel like a natural extension of your arm. This model features Promark’s raw finish for extra comfort — we think you’ll love the natural feel and response!

Weighted for finesse and agility

Are you looking for a stick to enhance your chops? Promark’s Rebound sticks are weighted in the rear for better finesse and cleaner note separation. Sweetwater drummers note that double strokes and ghost notes have a nice rebound for an all-hickory stick, which is something technically minded players are sure to appreciate.

Promark Drumsticks: an American institution since 1957

Promark has crafted quality American sticks and mallets in its family-owned Houston factory for six decades. Every Promark stick starts with responsibly harvested hickory, maple, or Japanese oak that’s carefully selected for dependable performance. From Ringo Starr and the Blue Devils to educators and hobbyists, drummers all over the world have found their perfect pair with Promark. Today, Promark is proud to be part of the D’Addario family of brands, joining the likes of Evans drumheads and Planet Waves cables.

Promark Rebound Drumsticks Features:

  • American hickory construction promotes strength and durability

Reviews

Long lasting, full-body sound
I have only been playing drums for a little over two years, but have played guitar and bass for around thirty to forty. One thing I was surprised about was how quickly the VicFirth hickory sticks got chewed up to the point of having to throw them away. My teacher has used Promark sticks for decades, so i thought I'd give their Firegrain sticks a try. They have a more solid, full-body sound, and they last a litle longer than the VFs, and instead of getting chewed up, they tend to split or break. The Raw Hickory Promarks feel a little heavier than the Firegrains, and, initially, they were more difficult for me to hang onto due to the lack of any coating, but after a couple days they got easier to hold as the wood absorbed some of the oils and moisture from my hands. Similar solid sound as the Firegrains.
I've used the same pair for over two months! They are dented somewhat, but the only chipped out wood just occurred this week on one of the acorn tips. I expect to get another month out them!
My only complaint so far is that the ink used to label them easily transfers between sticks and can also transfer to heads, though I've not noticed any transfer to my hands.
