took 10 minuets to install and able the rack the Q16 mixer. Works great!!!!

Must have accessory for the QU-16 if you plan to use it in a mobile case, rack, or DIY. I needed to install the QU-16 over top of an Allen Heath GL2800 and these ears made creating a stand easy.

When I bought my Allen & Heath QU-16, I remember reading about its ability to rack mount which at the time didn't interest me. Fast forward a couple of years and I'm putting together a portable, on wheels, mobile rack that has a huge tilt table top. After doing a little bit of searching, I found the rack mount kit at Sweetwater and having never ordered something like this before, took a chance.

My order arrived on time and packed well for shipping. The rack mount kit came complete with instructions screws and washers for the installation. The installation took about three minutes and the QU-16 slid perfectly into the tilt table top of the mobile rack, a perfect 19" rack mount. Fits great, well balanced and secure!
