Not exactly a straightforward dynamics plug-in, Antares PUNCH Evo uses a combination of gentle compression and tone shaping to add serious impact to your vocal tracks. Using PUNCH Evo is simple - much simpler, in fact, than using most regular dynamics plug-ins. PUNCH Evo has only three controls: the input gain, the output "ceiling," and the impact. Together, these controls let you dial in the intensity of your vocals, allowing them to cut through any mix. The wonderful thing about PUNCH Evo is that it lets you quickly get the same— or better — results as you would with conventional dynamics plug-ins, without greatly affecting the dynamic range of your vocals.
