Reviews

Been using these for 25 years!
Great sticks. Consistant and extremely durable. Only stick I'll ever use.
Music background: 30+ years working musician
Senior Drummer
A little heavier and thicker stick than I have used before but still well balanced and comfortable. I have some minor nerve damage in my left hand fingers so I use a product called "stick twirl" which allows better grip . Because of this stick being a little thicker the twirl holds better with very little movement. I recently gigged and was very pleased with my playing using these new sticks.
Where Great Tone Begins
The sound of your drums starts with your sticks, so quality is foremost. Too tight a grain or too heavy a finish can cause hand sweat and blisters. Through decades of trial and mostly error with maple and hickory from lesser brands, I have found Pro-Mark's Shira Kashi Japanese white oak to be the Goldilocks of materials from the Cadillac of stick makers. The open, wide oak grain absorbs the natural oil from your hands to provide a comfortable, positive grip that gets better with use, never feels sticky, and needs no goofy wraps or dips while the high density of the oak provides power, projection and impact with less mass, giving you greater volume and dynamic range with less stick diameter. In shorter words it plays and sounds like a much larger stick, while retaining the sensitivity of a smaller one. Top all that with Pro_Mark's legendary, industry-leading finish and quality control and you have what I believe is simply the best drumstick on the planet.

Best sticks I've ever used
These sticks are quality. They feel nice and balanced and the responsiveness is perfect. They also seem like they are going to last a long time, even with how hard I am playing with them. My other sticks all would have broken by now.
