It is made of wood. You can sit on it. When you hit it it makes noise. When you plug it in it makes louder noise. If you buy one, you will most likely enjoy it. That is all.

i got my cajon last Christmas. i am in my church worship band and wanted to branch out from singing so i had played the one the church owned and fell in love. the pickup is amazing and works really well. i highly suggest getting a case because the drum gets scratched real easily. sweeteners customer service is phenomenal.

Ordered this demo for church worship. I played one back around 2011 but can't remember the brand. But I do remember that it had a much better snare sound than this one. This one is mediocre at best. The smare sounds like the wires are to loose. Some brands used to have an adjustment knob for the snare but not this. I'm considering returning it.
