Reinforced Ball End for Great Durability

The PRS Signature Electric Guitar Strings are made with a reformulated nickel alloy that produces a louder and brighter tone than other strings. Sweetwater knows that tremolo bridges break strings; that's just a fact. These strings have a specially soldered ball end that's as break-resistant as it gets. Each nickel-plated plain string is drawn through high-quality dies while the bass strings' steel hex core is computer wound with a nickel wrap. This winding technique's pinpoint accuracy results in a comfortable playing tension and bright tone. With the soldered ball end and upgraded nickel alloy winding, PRS Signature Electric Guitar Strings will sound incredible and still stand up to tons of bending and hard playing without any trouble.

Perfect for high impact players

PRS has produced the Signature series to be extremely high-quality strings that players love for their durability and tone. If you've used a tremolo before, you know the pain of having a string break during a dive-bomb return or an especially hard tug on your trem bar. Thankfully, that's now a thing of the past. PRS's innovative pre-soldered ball-end strings are engineered to break less often than traditionally wrapped strings. If you use and abuse your tremolo system, these strings are for you.

PRS Signature Electric Guitar Strings – Light Features:

  • Reformulated alloys add extra brightness and volume
  • Soldered ball ends extend string life
  • Nickel-plated steel-wrapped strings stand up to intense playing
  • Corrosion resistant packaging keeps strings fresh
  • PRS Signature Light set, 0.010–.046

Great strings!

I installed these on my PRS SE Hollowbody II and they sound great! Very bright and clear without sounding too glassy or piercing. First impression is a good one.

I've played them for a few weeks now and they still sound good. My hands tend to be on the more corrosive side so I'm looking forward to seeing how soon I will have to change them.

GOAT

Best strings i have used for the price. They do sound better right out of the pack and then a day later they are darker but still sound, feel, and wear better then any other set for ten bucks. I also use a string conditioning oil and these strings last 2 months or more.

I Like these for my Les Paul and my PRS singlecut!

I am a player that tries everything and chooses what is best for me and the certain guitar. I use different sizes, types and brands of strings. My favorite strings are NYXL, Elixirs, and these signatures! So....
I love these on my Gibson Les Paul custom! I love them on my PRS singlecut SC250! I tried them on my custom 24 and I will be sticking with NYXL10-46BT on the cu24. I didn't try these strings on my other guitars, I'm still string hunting on my strat so that will be next. My advice is to string hunt...because strings are so personal...like picks. So find your match. I recommend to try this on Gibsons strongly.

PRS Signature Strings Solid Performance

I've tried most all strings and it's down to two contenders. PRS and D'Addario. The winner by a margin is the PRS signature strings. They sound and respond a little clearer. Their a bit brighter, a tad lighter and bend a little nicer. I of course play a PRS McCarty 594 so I may be a bit skewed in the PRS favor. They just sound better on my guitar then the D'Addario's.
Try them both and you decide for yourself. I do love there strings and highly recommend them.

Excellent quality strings, great if you're looking to brighten your tone

I own a PRS CE24 and as soon as I bought it, I played it so hard and for so long I managed to break my first string in only a month. The first set of strings that went on it were ClearTone 9-42's and they sounded awful (these were put on by a tech at Sam Ash while doing a setup, which was a nightmare experience but I digress), so I did my research and found myself between this set and the PRS Classic Electric strings.

These got me 95% back to sounding and feeling the same as the day I bought my CE24, but these strings are noticeably brighter and twangier than the Classic Electric strings, which I ultimately bought and use today. I also noticed they are a bit quieter and have less sustain when palm-muted (depending on your preference this might be a plus). I personally prefer the slightly darker tone of the Classic Electrics, but if you own a PRS with factory strings and you want to brighten up your tone, absolutely get these strings. Aside from the Classic Electrics, these are the only strings I will ever put on my PRS guitars.

You don't even have to play guitar to know that PRS instruments are in a league of their own. With their exquisitely figured tops and premium appointments, each PRS is a playable work of art. But it goes way deeper than the surface. Every time Paul visits Sweetwater, we get a deeper look at his amazing instruments. We've even hosted several PRS Custom Shop events, complete with Paul's personal Wood Library! Whether they're his most affordable SE electric guitars, top-quality acoustics, or amps, it's always amazing to see what PRS comes up with. What's more, we keep a ton of PRS guitars in our amazing Guitar Showroom, so the staff at Sweetwater can get hands on with all of their latest models. We'd love to tell you all about them.
