Delay Effect, Reimagined
Now boasting dual modulators with six modulation sources, four delay topologies, a robust filter module, the all-new Objeq module, and a brand-new interface, Objeq Delay 2 from Applied Acoustics Systems reimagines the capabilities of a delay plugin. Objeq Delay 2 is also exceptionally easy to control thanks to its clearly marked graphical user interfaces (GUIs) for each engine, unlimited undo and redo, and parameters that can be mapped to your MIDI controller for real-time control. Best of all, Objeq Delay 2 runs exceptionally smoothly on any workstation due to AAS’s physical modeling technology, delivering not only superb sound quality but also minimal memory requirements. Simply put, the second iteration of AAS’s Objeq acoustic filter and delay plugin brings even more mind-bending effects to your productions.

Powerful, flexible delays and filters
Objeq Delay 2 now sports dual modulators that work independently or together to create intricate effects, especially when combined with its six modulation sources: rectangular, triangular, sine, RMS, envelope follower, and monophonic pitch tracking. Additionally, comprehensive filter modules provide dual highpass filters (HPF) and lowpass filters (LPF), each with adjustable Q and 1-, 2-, or 4‑pole slopes. The all-new Objeq module also provides exquisite tonal color with its polarity flip switch plus plate, beam, drumhead, and string responses. Put together, these features enable you to sculpt the overall focus, depth, and presence of your creative effects to perfection.
Optimal acoustic sensations
While Objeq Delay 2 can certainly produce some otherworldly effects, Sweetwater producers also attest that it’s more than capable of natural-sounding delays that sit comfortably in a mix. This is because it features psychoacoustic processing and panning, which optimally position sounds in the stereo field, thus giving you more true-to-life effects.
Modeling technology for efficient processing
You won't find any sampling or convolution algorithms under Objeq Delay 2's hood. Instead, it's based entirely on Applied Acoustics Systems' physical modeling technology. Physical modeling is a sound synthesis technique based on models of a musical instrument or effect processor's actual sound production mechanism. This technology generates sound by reproducing how the real device actually functions. What does this mean for you? For starters, Objeq Delay 2 is lightweight, installing in less than a minute, and requires a very small memory footprint. It also loads presets instantaneously and uses very little of your computer's memory. Beyond that, it processes sound on the fly, allowing you to tweak parameters in real-time.
