Bought one for my Pearl MMX Masters 13"×15" tom,and it's resonating like never before;significant improvement in sound compared to the original ISS 3-clawed mounts. I'm changing out the rest of my toms (8×10,10×12,11×13 and 12×14) to OptiMounts. I definitely recommend them.

I have used this system before and was very happy with the design. The mount keeps the toms secure without straining the shell. I used these on a rack set-up that required additional parts to mount to the rack. They were also Pearl pieces and are definitely the way to go. The only issue I had this time was the fit to the 14" floor tom. the Opti Mount spread measurement to the hoops did not fit my TAMA tom. It was necessary to modify where the hoop bolts attach to the mount. I filed the area to be slightly longer and then attached it without the rubber cushions.
