I replace a bunch of cheap XLR-M and XLR-F with these and have found that they fit VERY tightly into the other connectors. Even a bit intermittent if you don't make sure you give them a good push when plugged in. Tough to remove as well. I have been a Neutrik fan for 30 years but will go back to switchraft. All my switchcraft XLR-M and XLR-F plug in and out easily but securely.
