Practical Monitor Control

Changing your monitors' volume is a hassle if you need to reach for your mixer or click around in your DAW. It wastes time and moves your head out of the sweet spot. The Behringer Monitor1 solves this issue, placing convenient monitor control right on your desktop. Its passive design ensures that there's no active circuitry or digital processing to muck up your sound, and its large volume knob makes dialing in precise levels a piece of cake. Integrating the Monitor1 with the rest of your rig is easy, thanks to comprehensive I/O. You can also mute your monitors or fold to mono with the touch of a button. If you're searching for practical monitor control, you'll appreciate the Monitor1.

Doesn't color your sound

You've got great-sounding monitors, so the last thing you need is a monitor controller that alters what you're hearing. That's why the Behringer Monitor1 features a passive design. Since this monitor controller eschews active circuitry, it preserves the integrity of your analog signal and won't add any distortion or RF interference to your system.

Dial in precise levels

It's simple physics — the bigger the knob, the more accurate it is. Have you ever tried to make exact adjustments using a tiny knob? The engineers here at Sweetwater will attest — it's not easy. The Monitor1 features a large oversized knob, making it easy to dial in your levels with the utmost precision.

Easy to set up

The Monitor1 is easy to integrate with the rest of your gear. It doesn't take up much desk space, and it features XLR/TRS combo inputs, XLR outputs, and 1/8" stereo ins/outs for maximum compatibility with a variety of devices.

Behringer Monitor1 Features:

  • Passive monitor and volume controller with small footprint
  • Passive design ensures that there's no active circuitry or digital processing to muck up your sound
  • Large volume knob makes dialing in precise levels a piece of cake
  • Comprehensive I/O makes integration with the rest of your gear easy
  • Mute your monitors or fold to mono with the touch of a button

Works as it should, perfect for my application

I am using this between my Mixer and a full set of QSC subs/mains.
This way I can control output volume without touching the board.
I am impressed that I do not hear any added noise.

I like the feel of the unit, super simple, its sturdy and easy to control.

Con: it would be nice if the casing was angled so that you can see the numbers 1-100. OR at least put an indent in the knob so that you can tell where you are on the 1-100 scale. Per uploaded image, I put a white tape sliver on top of mine at the set point, works well for me! Hard to believe they did not think of this.

Just Perfect!

I connected this between a set of Presonus Eris 8XT monitors, (check them out!) and my Presonus mixer, and it is a God send. Best $ I ever spent. I was skeptical, but now I'm a fan. So smooth to use, and I like the fact that it's passive too.
Music background: Played in local hard rock/metal bands in the 80's. Just play at home now and jam every couple of weeks with friends. It's always a blast.

Gets the job done. Nice price.

This baby is well put together. It has a nice weight to it and it's sturdy. My sales rockstar suggested this item when the volume knob went out on my audio interface. Now I don't have to get up every time I need to adjust the volume. The mute feature is really nice for every time a family member bursts in while I'm working on something and I have to hear them ask for something. Behringer has come a long way since Radio Shack. Great product.
Music background: Trying not to suck for almost 20 years.

Big A** Knob

It's a knob. A big knob that's easy to set up and very satisfying to use. Mono and mute buttons are the bonus track. Nothing more needs to be said. It works awesome and is very useful for monitors that have the switch in the back. I wish I had one of these to turn down the voice of my mother in law.

Works perfectly!

I paired this with two Behringer powered speakers and it did exactly what needed it to do.
