Lifelike Vintage Organs and Electric Pianos

The single-manual Crumar Mojo 61 clonewheel gives you the sounds of analog with the convenience of digital. Mojo's 22 onboard organ modeling algorithms and drawbars do a great job of capturing the authentic response and tone of some vintage A-, B-, and C-series organs. But this keyboard also lets you save and recall those settings at an instant. From juicy rhythms with chunky overdrive to wailing leads with lifelike percussion effects, the Mojo 61 has the base sounds players will love for blues, jazz, rock, or gospel music. The realistic onboard stereo rotary speaker simulator is a stunning approximation of a classic, and is a great way to add depth and drama to your recordings and live setups.

Crumar Mojo 61 Digital Tonewheel Organ at a Glance:
  • 22 realistic tonewheel organ models with powerful shaping controls
  • Comfortable waterfall keys play like a classic
22 realistic tonewheel organ models with powerful shaping controls

It's hard to beat a classic tonewheel organ for jazz, blues, and classic rock. And perhaps even tougher to re-create one through samples. That's why Crumar of Italy resorted to tone modeling to capture the sought-after vintage sounds in its Mojo 61 clonewheel. The Mojo's onboard tone generators re-create the characteristics of 22 actual vintage organs, and even let you create your own for a totally unique sound. Nine natural-feeling drawbars will have you customizing your tone in seconds. Then add in digital reverb, chorus, or vibrato for depth, or dial in overdrive to give your parts some presence. Also onboard is a selection of classic transistor keyboards and a sampled acoustic piano, making this versatile keyboard even more flexible.

Comfortable waterfall keys play like a classic

The Mojo 61's comfortable, rounded waterfall keys mimic the revered keybeds of some famous tonewheels, allowing you to perform smooth organ wipes and palm slides without damaging the instrument or your hand. Sweetwater keyboardists know that seasoned players will appreciate the work Crumar has done to create an authentic playing experience in its Mojo 61.

What is Demo Gear?

At Sweetwater, we're so picky that what we call a "demo" is actually better than what most music retailers sell as "new" gear! Our gear hasn't endured hundreds of people a week plunking away at all the keyboards, fumbling through Stairway to Heaven on every guitar or playing with every fader and knob on a mixer or control surface.

What demo means to us is that we've had it out of the box, or maybe it was in a customer's hands for a few days and isn't "factory fresh" as a result. Every demo item we sell has Sweetwater's 2-year Total Confidence Coverage™ warranty, and has been tested and verified up to "new" specs by our factory-authorized technicians to make sure it's in perfect working order before we ship it to you.

When you buy a Demo item at Sweetwater, you get:
  • 2-year Total Confidence Coverage Warranty™!
  • Products inspected and tested by our factory-authorized techs, guaranteed to function like new (or better)!
  • FREE shipping on most items
  • Equipment that will MEET or EXCEED your expectations!

MOJO 61 crushes it!

I got this to replace my old Roland Vk8m which met with a horrible accident. It sounds and feels like you are playing a real Hammond B3. The ease to change the tone with the knobs right at your fingertips makes live performing with this a breeze. The Rhodes is really nice as is the Wurlie and clav. My only gripe is the acoustic piano is dreadful and the phaser effect is limited on editing even when connected with the editor on my phone. (If it could sound more like a Phase 90 I'd be very pleased).

The main reason I got the Mojo 61 over the Mojo is that on gigs where I'm just using an organ to play some pad chords on a rock or jazz tune I dont need the extra space a double manual would gobble up. I plan on getting the extra lower manual for those times whe I am playing a straight up B3 gig.

Thanks to Shauna my sales rep for helping me with buying this and keeping me in the loop on all my questions.

Great Organ/Keyboard at a great price point...Crumar Rocks

I'm very happy with my MOJO 61 and can't stop playing it. The Key-bed feels great. The VB3 II Organ software is wonderful as is all the other Electric Organs and Pianos it comes with. The Pipe Organ is pretty cool when you turn the upper and lower couplers on and set the draw bars just right with lots of the on board reverb added. It's such a blast to go from authentic B-3 Jazz Blues draw bar settings used by the greats to the Doors Vox Continental with just one button. The GSI Rhodes piano is also very good sounding. I even like the acoustic piano it came with which sounds like an upright I'm thinking, good for playing live in the bars. This Crumar 61 is perfect for all around gigging and for doing weddings. I got a hard shell Gator GTSA-KEY61 TSA Series Keyboard Case that fits it perfectly. The case and the kybd weigh about 50.lbs together, separately they weigh around 25.lbs each. The kybd came well packaged from Sweetwater and on time.

Sweet organ

I got my Mojo 61 in November 2021 and it has become my favorite keyboard. I play in a rock band and had been looking for something portable with a great Hammond sound to supplement piano keyboard. I shopped for about a year before going with the Mojo. I own a Hammond M3 and BCV and a Leslie 147, all of which I gigged with regularly so I knew what I needed, sound-wise. The Mojo editor allowed me to tweak almost everything to my liking, especially the rotary simulator. Now I actually prefer the onboard rotary sound over my Leslie and my Vent. This organ just keeps getting better the more I use it. Needless to say, I'm a happy customer. One last detail, because I was overzealous when the organ arrived, I just plugged it in and had at it before reading the manual. Big mistake. I couldn't get the editor to work and was having regrets about the organ. I emailed Crumar technical support and got their reply in one day. They got me straight, in a very polite way ( I didn't read the instructions!) and now all is right. I highly recommend this keyboard. And read the manual!

Best Hammond clone out there

Where do I even start? I needed a lightweight substitute for my 1962 Hammond and Leslie, and the Mojo 61 has definitely risen to the occasion. I spent a good 2 hours dialing in the organ and leslie parameters to best match my "real" setup. Kudos to Crumar for letting me get all the weird oldness, crosstalk, noise, and mic placement just right. I would rank the Leslie simulator just below the Neo Ventilator, and far above any other clonewheel. Keys feel excellent, and can handle all the palm smears without feeling like cheap plastic. Of course the EP sounds are great, but I have a Crumar Seven that handles those. An unexpected surprise was how nice the pipe organ sounds are, especially with some heavy reverb added. If you're hesitant to pull the trigger on buying a Mojo, just do it. Crumar is a very underrated company that is worth watching!

Better than ever!

There"s really no need to rehash how incredible the Mojo 61 is as a tonewheel organ. Or as an electric piano for that matter. But, the newest version has some serious improvements well worth mentioning! The newest firmware update improves the Leslie sim to world class levels! I have a couple of the best known and most respected outboard Leslie sims, and (imho of course) the new Mojo sim can sound far better than either - it takes some time delving into the sim"s many parameters and the many organ parameters that interact with them, but you can come up with some startling results! And, there is no longer a external power supply - you just plug in a standard ac cord and away you go! And, wifi is now transmitted by a removable usb drive (they even give you a 3rd USB port) so you don"t have to be perpetually broadcasting wifi to everyone in your audience"s devices. And you can now plug directly into your computer to edit the Mojo so you can stay on the internet while you edit! The Mojo 61 just keeps getting better!
