Sizzling, Rich, and Velvety Hats!
The Paiste Masters Dark hi-hats give you a complex, sizzling sound complemented by a rich and satisfying chick sound when closed. Sweetwater drummers love their smooth and velvety quality, which makes this set of hats a perfect choice for small ensemble jazz and blues, but it also lets you add an exotic air to rock and other genres as well. Thanks to their medium sustain level and rather loud playing dynamics, Paiste Masters Dark hi-hats are great for sonically dense environments, where their explosive attack can freely cut through the mix without drowning out everything else.

The Paiste Masters Series
Starting as an assemblage of 12 ride cymbals, the Paiste Masters Series eventually expanded to include crashes and hi-hats. Superior and unique sonic textures were achieved by utilizing CuSn20 bronze in the design of these hand-manufactured cymbals. The Masters Series represents the culmination of Paiste's decades of experience with regard to designing and building of cymbals.
Paiste: a tradition of innovation
Headquartered in Switzerland, Paiste meets the creative needs of drummers and percussionists with innovative cymbals, gongs, and bronze percussion instruments. Founded at the beginning of the 20th century, Paiste lays claim to a number of cymbal firsts, including the first use of 8% bronze, the wavy-edged hi-hat bottom cymbal, the bell-less flat ride, unlathed hammered cymbals, color-coated cymbals, china cymbals with a downturned edge, and the invention of its signature bronze alloy. World-class drummers such as Bill Bruford, Stewart Copeland, and Vinnie Colaiuta have long relied on Paiste cymbals to forge their signature sounds — and you can, too!
