Personal Monitor Mixing Made Simple

The ART MyMonitorII is a comprehensive personal monitor mixer that can be a big help in your home studio, allowing you to blend signals from a microphone, an instrument, and a stereo line-level source simultaneously. Plug in a mic, then connect the microphone throughput to your mic preamp, audio interface, or mixing console. Do the same with a guitar or bass, then plug in a stereo return of your music. Plug in your headphones, and you're ready to monitor all three sources. Musicians at Sweetwater have long appreciated ART products for their simple, application-focused designs. When you need a simple personal monitoring solution, you can count on the ART MYMonitorII personal mixer.

ART MYMonitorII Personal Monitor Mixer Features:

  • Personal monitor mixer with mic, instrument, and stereo line-level inputs
  • 1/4" and 1/8" headphone outputs
  • Microphone Thru connects to your mic preamp, audio interface, or mixing console
  • Instrument/Line Thru connects to your amplifier or audio interface
  • Powered by 9V battery or 12VDC power supply (included)

What is Demo Gear?

At Sweetwater, we're so picky that what we call a "demo" is actually better than what most music retailers sell as "new" gear! Our gear hasn't endured hundreds of people a week plunking away at all the keyboards, fumbling through Stairway to Heaven on every guitar or playing with every fader and knob on a mixer or control surface.

What demo means to us is that we've had it out of the box, or maybe it was in a customer's hands for a few days and isn't "factory fresh" as a result. Every demo item we sell has Sweetwater's 2-year Total Confidence Coverage™ warranty, and has been tested and verified up to "new" specs by our factory-authorized technicians to make sure it's in perfect working order before we ship it to you.

When you buy a Demo item at Sweetwater, you get:
  • 2-year Total Confidence Coverage Warranty™!
  • Products inspected and tested by our factory-authorized techs, guaranteed to function like new (or better)!
  • FREE shipping on most items
  • Equipment that will MEET or EXCEED your expectations!

ART MyMonitorII Personal Monitor Mixer

I purchased this item to assist in monitoring my instrument (Bass) during mass at our church.
I wear hearing aids and am not always able to be in front of the amp.
The monitor is placed between the bass and ToneBone input.
After several months of use I find that it provides good volume to earbuds.
Last use was for Christmas while positioned in the middle of the choir, brass, strings and bell ensembles.
I've tried passive monitors in the past that didn't provide enough volume.
This product, using either the 9v battery or transformer power option, raises the monitoring volume to adequately hear my bass.
The other plus is it has a pass-thru for the line-in and mic. The other product I used muted output when a headset was plugged in.
I would recommend this product.

Great sound quality & superb functionality

This compact, flexible gem is a wonder - I should have bought one years ago. I use it primarily in my studio for quiet practice of instruments & vocals. I can play and/or sing along with recorded tracks. I can test my pedalboard(s) or a new pedal without running through an amp. The ability to power it with a 9V battery makes it convenient. It drives my IEMs and cans without breaking a sweat. Highly recommended!

Exactly what I was looking for.

Put this in the corner of a bass pedalboard for worship. Bass in, then thru to the tuner and on to the rest of the board, DI, Amp, house. Stereo in from IEM system via TRS on the back, IEM out on the front. Now able to step on the tuner to mute the signal to the amp and house, while being able to pick out a part with everyone else in my ears. Works well as a headphone amp, too. Comes with a 12VDC supply but works off 9V, making it even easier to incorporate into a pedalboard. Haven't tried it yet, but I think the mic and instrument can both be used at the same time, which is awesome. The Left and Right sides of stereo signal are controlled independently, which is nice for being able to put everyone else on one side or if you just use one ear. The only thing that would make this better would be the ability to pan the the Mic and/or Istrument signals to the other side if desired.

ART MyMonitorII Personal Monitor Mixer

Used for monitoring vocals, keyboard, and main mixer aux send in a worship setting, on a quiet stage. This was added to the existing setup to eliminate a wireless monitor system that kept dropping out, sometimes with static.

Everything works as expected, plenty of gain and volume available, no more dropping out or static. If you are adding this to an existing setup, you'll need a short XLR cord from your mic to the unit, a short 1/4" cord from your instrument to the unit, and some combination of cords/adapters to get a signal from the mixer to the unit. Check what your options are on the mixer sends you'll be using, and what's available on your audio snake. We ended up needing to go from XLR to 1/4" TRS at the mixer, and then a 1/4" TRS from the snake to this unit.

Nice solid unit, it's been working without any issue for about a year.
