The MT 48 U includes built-in DSP, providing you with a fully parametric 4-band EQ, a feature-rich dynamics processor for each channel, and a studio-quality reverb. You can control four separate monitor mixes — with effects — directly from the unit's intuitive touchscreen. Moreover, you can use the MT 48 U's DSP for monitoring only, print the effects while you're recording, or do both simultaneously via the unit's Direct Output Technology.
