I've had mine for almost 3 years. I perform 3-4 nights a week, inside and outside, and I am not delicate with my equipment. This mic stand handles gigs, road crew, being thrown to the ground and into a trailer or van… I've never gotten so much use from a single microphone stand. I don't see any sign of failure in the near future. IF I ever have to buy another stand it will be this one!

Nice, lightweight stand. Certainly being able to have a straight or boom stand in one is an advantage. The mic clips are different from the old-school "slide in" clips, but seem to hold things well. The raise/lower feature is terrific as well. The band loves these things!

Well built and solid mic stand. Quick and easy setup. Heavy enough to not blow over or tip too easily and is very stable. All parts are fully self contained so nothing gets lost. Locking mechanisms are solid and easy to use.

I would definitely purchase it again.

After years of dealing with mic stands that work fine for a few gigs and then get wobbly or dented when put to heavy use, I finally wised up and got a Hercules stand. What a difference! Sets up literally in less than a minute, and the clutch handle makes adjusting height virtually effortless! The hideaway boom feature is a godsend in conserving trunk space!
