The Easy Way to Mount Your ULTRA-X40 Speaker

The Meyer Sound MPK-POLE provides an easy, efficient way to mount an ULTRA-X40 or ULTRA-X42 loudspeaker on top of a 750-LFC or 900-LFC Low-Frequency Control Element. This speaker pole mount's all-steel shaft telescopes from 36.5 to 60 inches, and it locks into position via a secure knob. You also get a removeable adapter sleeve that fits the ULTRA-X40/42's internal 35mm/M20 pole mount receptacle to bolster the connection. At Sweetwater, we appreciate the MPK-POLE's internal gas cylinder pneumatic lift, which gives you 40 pounds of lift assistance. The MPK-POLE also comes with an adapter for converting its bottom diameter from 35mm to 38mm.

This pole mount set covers everything you need. It has lift assist in a slim form factor, It has mounting adaptors for both the X-20 and the X-40 threads. Plenty of height to shoot over people's heads. I used the provided top hats to change out the ones on existing subs. Just using the screws was very secure. I could tip over the sub using the pole as a lever without risk of pulling out the mounting from the sub.
