Expanding on the original MG-300, the MG-300 MKII adds greater control over your effects chain routing, introduces Pro Scenes to switch amp and effect parameters within created presets, expands user slots for your favorite third-party IRs, and much more. Incredible tone awaits inside this sub-2-pound frame thanks to its White Box modeling algorithm, which simulates analog circuitry in the more than 25 included amp and over 40 effect models. Also included are a bass amp and bass cabinets, a phrase looper, a drum machine, and an expression pedal to control wah, volume, or other effect parameters in real time. Whether you’re practicing silently or on-the-go, or livestreaming on your social media platforms, the 1/8-inch TRRS jack accepts headphones with built-in microphones, and the MG-300 MKII also includes separate microphone output and gate controls to blend your perfect mix between guitar and voice. Finally, the multifunction USB-C port turns your modeler into an audio interface for recording with your favorite DAW, allows complete control via the included QuickTone Software Editor, and facilitates firmware updates in the future. Better yet, the variations that modulation effects have both before and after the amp models behave in the same way as they do with their analog counterparts. The single output jack is a TRS jack for stereo operation, further expanding the sonic potential of the MG-300 MKII. For even greater flexibility, Block Switching allows certain effect blocks to be substituted for other effects. Whether you want to dual-stack overdrive and distortions to simulate a pedal platform style of amp or dive deeper into soundscape experimentation, you’ll find the perfect signal path.
