An 8x8 Interface for Your StageConnect Network

The Midas DN4888 provides a dead-simple solution for piping eight channels of analog I/O over a StageConnect network. This bus-powered interface features eight line-level analog inputs, eight line-level analog outputs, and two Ethernet ports: one to connect to Ultranet receivers, and a second to output the eight onboard analog input channels. Configuring the DN4888 is a piece of cake via a built-in Synchronization switch. You also get an LED that indicates a successful connection to a StageConnect network, plus a power LED and a USB port for firmware updates. Here at Sweetwater, we've used the DN4888 for a whole host of essential applications. If you want to route eight channels of analog I/O audio over a convenient Ethernet cable, the Midas DN4888 is a great way to go.

Midas DN4888 StageConnect Interface Features:

What is Demo Gear?

At Sweetwater, we're so picky that what we call a "demo" is actually better than what most music retailers sell as "new" gear! Our gear hasn't endured hundreds of people a week plunking away at all the keyboards, fumbling through Stairway to Heaven on every guitar or playing with every fader and knob on a mixer or control surface.

What demo means to us is that we've had it out of the box, or maybe it was in a customer's hands for a few days and isn't "factory fresh" as a result. Every demo item we sell has Sweetwater's 2-year Total Confidence Coverage™ warranty, and has been tested and verified up to "new" specs by our factory-authorized technicians to make sure it's in perfect working order before we ship it to you.

When you buy a Demo item at Sweetwater, you get:
  • 2-year Total Confidence Coverage Warranty™!
  • Products inspected and tested by our factory-authorized techs, guaranteed to function like new (or better)!
  • FREE shipping on most items
  • Equipment that will MEET or EXCEED your expectations!

Great addition to the Wing

STageCONNECT system, uses dmx or standard xlr connections for 32x32 ch's via the SC port on the Wing (and perhaps future devices). This model 8in and 8 out on one device. There is also 16 in and a 16 out version. I got mine for IEM use but the possibilities are large! You can't go wrong!

Convenient, but line-level only and noisy

I needed to compliment a 16x8 digital stage box with some additional I/O so I picked this up and admittedly didn't realize there were no pre-amps and that it is line-level only - my bad. Just plan your input mappings accordingly. It connects easily, my Wing discovered the device and I had instant I/O - good. I did note that it added a noticeable amount of hiss to the noise floor.
