This bag keeps everything protected and easy to find. The backpack feature helps relieve excess stress on the bag to help keep it from ripping.

I gotta say, coming from using an old mailbag to schlep cymbals around, this is light years better. It's got separators within it which can easily hold multiple cymbals, has a nice outside pocket for cymbal related stuff or a high hat top. Really like the solid handle, and the backpack style straps on the back. Solid zipper. A bit expensive but if you're moving your cymbals around or gigging this is solid and will last a long time, worth the money for sure. Thanks for the recommendation Derek!

I bought this Mono 22" Cymbal bag to replace a (nearly) identical one. The old bag started to wear out after 11 years. Specifically, the bottom was wearing out from the cymbals cutting into it. I really like the bag. Everything seems quite sturdy. The only thing that was not so well thought out on the old bag has been removed; namely, the metal Mono tag affixed to the front pocket - smart decision on Mono's part. I generally carry a 20" or 22" ride, an 18" crash and a 2nd crash - either 18" or 16" - and 14" hi hats. There's one more sleeve in the main compartment; so I could carry a 4th cymbal.

The hi-hat compartment is fine. It has a little flap/pocket-like spot for carrying a cymbal clutch.
There's a little pocket outside the hi hat compartment. The specs say it is for a splash cymbal. I use it to hold miscellaneous stuff.

The straps are comfortable and sturdy and the clips and tabs on the cymbal bag that they attach to are strong as well - no signs of wear on the old bag. I especially like the clip in front that pulls the two straps together. I think that makes it easier on my shoulders.

I've had this bag for a couple of years now and it is by far the best cymbal bag I've ever used. Not sure what all the other reviewers are tripping on, but I can get 22" cymbals in and out of this bag just fine. It is tight, but not as difficult as it has been made out to be.

Also, MONO's customer service is fantastic! I had an issue with my first bag where one of the backpack straps came off at the bottom seam. I emailed MONO and sent them a few pics of the bag and they sent a replacement bag out to me that same day. I've had zero issues since then and my cymbals are well protected.
