Well made cymbal bag!

I've had this bag for a couple of years now and it is by far the best cymbal bag I've ever used. Not sure what all the other reviewers are tripping on, but I can get 22" cymbals in and out of this bag just fine. It is tight, but not as difficult as it has been made out to be.

Also, MONO's customer service is fantastic! I had an issue with my first bag where one of the backpack straps came off at the bottom seam. I emailed MONO and sent them a few pics of the bag and they sent a replacement bag out to me that same day. I've had zero issues since then and my cymbals are well protected.

M80 cymbal bag

One of the best cymbal bags available. Although the bag should be marketed as a 20" cymbal bag, I can fit one 22" cymbal in it, but it is not nearly as protected as a 20" cymbal. If you want to protect 22" cymbals get the 24" M80 bag.. I would love to see a 26" M80 bag to fit 24" cymbals or just a renaming of the bags to be more true to size

Great bag, but really best for 20" or less

Its a great cymbal bag. Well built and sturdy. Nicely padded and good attention to detail.

Big problem: main compartment isn't really large enough for 22" cymbals. One will fit, but barely, and the top edge isn't protected like it is on the 20" cymbals. If you rock 20 or less, highly recommended. If you have 22" cymbals, probably best to get something else.

Avoid this bag for 22

The bag itself is pretty good. I've had it for a couple years and it's holding up great. It has lots of pockets for storage (I use the splash pocket as extra storage since I don't use splashes) and I love the padded cymbal dividers. My big problem is that they're advertising this as a bag for 22" cymbals, which is a lie. Just avoid this bag if you own or ever plan on buying 22" cymbals.

Until recently the largest cymbal I owned was 20". I've since purchased a couple of 22" cymbals and this bag is pretty much useless to me now. It is a STRUGGLE trying to get a 22" cymbal in and out of this thing. Technically, a 22" can fit but only if you cram the cymbal in along the outside of the strip of padding, greatly compromising the amount of protection to your cymbal. Getting a 22" back out of the bag again is even more difficult.

This sucks because now I feel like I need to buy a bigger cymbal bag and I'm out $.

One of the things we love about MONO is their raw passion. Seriously - it might be hard to imagine being passionate about making gig bags and soft cases, but every time they come to Sweetwater to show off their latest creations, that message comes through loud and clear. That's what drives them to produce many of the best bags in the industry. Thin yet remarkably effective padding provides lightweight and slim protection, robust materials hold up to years of heavy use, and heavy-duty zippers won't fail on you. Even the stitching is a cut above the rest. That's the reason many gigging Sweetwater artists choose MONO, and we have access to everything! What's more, we see the same amazing design philosophy in their pedalboards and everything else they make. You can always trust MONO gear.
