You don’t need a MIDI degree to use it

Thanks to its simple design, you don’t need an advanced degree in MIDI to use the Blackstar Live Logic; but that doesn’t mean that it skimps on features. Use it to controls Program Change, Control change, Note and Clock messages, and more. At Sweetwater, we particularly appreciate how smoothly it controls Ableton Live. Connect it to your computer via USB, download the free app that runs on mac/OS and Windows, and you can customize MIDI messages and the function of each footswitch and optional connected expression pedal and save the configuration presets for instant toe-tap recall. The Blackstar Live Logic features a non-glare LED display that keeps you status-savvy — you can read it from any angle, in bright sunlight or on a dark stage.

Great for Live Worship

Love using this thing as a midi trigger for our backing tracks at church! Works great with Ableton & Loop Community's app PRIME!

Great controller for the HX stomp and Helix nstive

So far, this is the most useful and pedalboard friendly midi controller i have used. Instead of being a cluster of tiny switches, they are laid out horizontal like a pedalboard should be! Really nice unit.

Seamless amp switching with this controller and Reaper

I'm using this to toggle between presets on a laptop being used as a guitar amp. I've got three amps and a wah each assigned to a switch. The switches can be programmed to command program changes or other midi functions through the live logic software and it communicates easily with my DAW (Reaper). Evan Mulvihill came through with brilliant service as always.

EXACTLY What I Needed!

I've recently got into playing and recording using plugins - thanks to lockdown - but I couldn't quite feel 'normal' playing in the same way as I would with my amps. The Blackstar Live Logic fixed all this for me as I have used it to map patch changes and settings changes on my plugin to feel just like I'm switching amps and amp channels, and even stomping my pedalboard effects! VERY COOL! This has opened up a whole new way to play for me, and I'm even going to start using it with my amp for switching when we finally get back to playing live.
Thanks for fixing something I didn't know was a problem, until now!
