The extended boom works well

I am a fan of K&M and this does not disappoint. The boom works well for my set up. I like the large clutch handle. When fully extended (and with an Beta 58 in the clip,) you do have to put a bit of effort on the clutch to prevent it from drooping. (I find it best to be standing for maximum torque.) If you need extra boom length, I highly recommend.

Love These Stands!

I've been preforming a long time now....week-end warrior, and have tried a lot of different mic stands. the K&M seems to stand out from the others, as far as overall sturdiness and compact folding. The boom seems to also provide an endless amount of travel also!

Sturdy Mic Stand, Longer Boom Arm

The K&M 25600 Mic Stand with Telescoping Boom is very sturdy and comes with longer boom arm than some models. The position adjustable boom angle locking mechanism is really nice and locks the boom arm very securely in place. I am using a 3 lb. counter weight on the boom arm, and a 10lb. weight on the the base of the stand, just to make sure everything is secure, and properly balanced, with a long boom arm extension while using a heavier microphone. It's a little more expensive than some other microphone stands, but for me, well worth the ability to have a longer boom extension. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Excellent Mic Stand

This is very solid and extremely well built. The knob mechanism to tight the boom angle is the best I've seen.

Best Mic Stand

I have used boom stands for a long time and have been frustrated with the lack of quality in the parts that tighten the various components. This K&M stand is the best I have ever purchased. It is sturdy and easy to use. The parts that loosen and tighten the stand are perfect. Our worship leader loves his stand. I will be replacing our other stands with this one.
