Another great Kalimba from Meinl. The finish is perfect, the tone and sustain of the keys are great. Just a all-around wonderful instrument. I own several Kalimba, the black Walnut to me sounds the best in 17 or 21 keys. Thank you Meinl and Sweetwater for great quality products and customer service.

I am enjoying this Kalimba and I like it that the notes are marked on the tines (is that a word?) I have an ancient and out-of-tune Kalimba that has no such markings, so this new one will allow me to really learn more. I really appreciate the included guide book and the tuning tool and the protective pouch - all these make it a real learning package-thanks to Sweetwater!

I really like the sound of Kalimbas. As a film and game composer I thought I'll get one so I had gotten one from amazon. It was as nice as it looked and it did cost a bit. It lost tuning within 15 or some more seconds of play and had dull high notes and unequal levels to a great degree across the range. So I returned it and waited for this one to be available here, not being sure if I'd ever buy a kalimba again. Well, I'm glad I did. This wonderful Kalimba is made of really good quality materials and comes with an amazing cases and set of accessories, all of great quality. I'm very happy with this purchase. It's worth every penny and more. Can't wait to record some newly written Kalimba parts into a serene score.
