Pigtronix Infinity 3 Looper Pedal
Pigtronix Infinity 3 Looper Pedal Reviews
Equal parts performance tool and songwriter's sketchbook, the Pigtronix Infinity 3 looper pedal is destined to become a permanent part of your live, rehearsal, and studio workflow. With this next-level looper, you can harness two independent stereo or split mono loops to toggle verse/chorus accompaniment in a live setting. Each loop includes its own level control, so you can build dynamic mixes based on the way you play. You can also pull from a bank of 50 of your own pre-recorded loops (up to 3 hours in total length) to access instant inspiration anywhere you write or play out. As with all Pigtronix pedals, the Infinity 3 looper spares no expense when it comes to features or signal path. Plus, 24-bit/48kHz stereo recording with discrete analog limiter stages and a transparent analog audio pass-through makes this pedal every ounce as choosy as your boutique pedal fleet. Features that further distinguish the Infinity 3 include stereo I/O to capture stereo delays on reverbs on the way in and out, a 24kHz/12kHz switch to give parts a 3-octave reach, an extremely responsive Sync Multi loop capture, and a 5-pin MIDI in with clock jitter correction for simpler integration with DAWs, drum machines, and more. The bottom line? The Pigtronix Infinity 3 from Sweetwater is dual-looper pedal that's all-in on sound, speed, and ease of use.

Doesnt work with MIDI devices, so what's the point?
Doesn't sync with Beat Buddy or my computer (MOTU midi box) properly...when I record with an external box the playback on this is pitch shifted every time. Hours of playing with midi settings and web searching to no avail, but lots of others reporting the same issue. Highly not recommended.
Disappointed
I like the intuitive simplicity of use. Not being able to undo an overdub without the additional footswitch is a minus. There's a lot of white noise in recorded loops.
I also can't connect via USB to a mac or windows computer, something I want to do for backup and to integrate with my DAW. In addition, Pigtronix's customer service is less than helpful.
I would recommend something else until they sort out these issues.
Expensive piece of crap. Don't buy it.
Build quality is terrible. Feels cheap in your hands. Came broken. Input 2 never worked in Split (Mono mixdown) mode and it never will since I'm rude, disappointed and ended up screwing the Input 2 port up while trying to make it work. Save yourself the trouble, buy something else. This product is garbage.
'Undo' missing, footswitch up-sell :-(
Every looper i've ever had/used has an 'undo' built into the start/stop footswitch whereby you hold the switch down and it 'undo' you overdub.
They've cleverly omitted this feature from their main pedal, but they've added the 'undo' as an external footswitch up-sell option (i.e. an extra $).
what's worse; they could easily incorporate the undo in a future firmware release (ahem! if they wanted to).
The looper would've been the perfect solution for my pedal-board and playing out live except now i have to add their extra 3-way footswith apart from my main pedal-board.
That's just poopy.
(Someone please correct me if I'm wrong)
Sooner Looper
I am really having fun uncovering all the features of the Pigtronix Infinity III and I'm glad I purchased it.
Infinity loops my interest
It's been a lot of fun so far. It requires some practice, but the results are quite satisfying. Good tonal presence, sequency and consistency. As far as capabilities for the cost it's well worth the price. I would certainly recommend.
Infinity 3
Works well. Closer to what I was looking for. Not a fan of the master volumne control controlling the overall output of the sound. Too much white noise past 1:00. Decided to put the looper into a separate switcher to pull it out of line when not using. Otherwise great sound and intuitive to use.
Favorite looper on the market
I've tried Boss, TC, and now this. This is hands down the most feature packed looper I've used, and it's very easy to use. It does take a while to get familiar with all the features and modes because it can do so much, but anyone can start basic looping right out of the box. The two loops in series mode, with different loop lengths, makes building a real song a breeze and takes the bedroom practice sessions to a whole new level. I can't recommend this pedal enough. It's so good, I may have to try some of their other products that I probably have no need for, but now I want. lol
Missing Crucial Feature
There's no way to delete an overdub without using an external footswitch. This seems like an oversight, and it's a dealbreaker for a $ looper pedal. Also, the jacks on the back are too close to each other to use pancake style ends on patch cables. I'll be returning this, rather than buy new patch cables and an additional footswitch. The rest of the functionality of this thing is pretty good.
