Incredibly Lightweight and Powerful!

Peavey astounds with the IPR2 3000 power amplifier, which is part of the exciting IPR Series. Peavey somehow managed to not only make the IPR Series super-powerful in terms of wattage but also incredibly lightweight, in fact, the lightest in the IPR Series weighs less than seven pounds! The IPR2 3000 features two channels with independent, 100Hz crossovers. Plus, there's a variable-speed fan housed in its lightweight aluminum chassis. In addition to thermal efficiency and reliability, there's also Peavey's DDT speaker-protection circuitry built into the Peavey IPR2 3000.

Groundbreaking IPR Series: Lightweight, efficient, reliable

The IPR2 3000 is a member of Peavey's impressive IPR Series. Peavey went the extra mile in designing this exciting line of power amplifiers. For starters, each IPR Series power amp boasts an extremely light weight; the lightest IPR weighs under seven pounds! Adding to that, Peavey managed to increase output power, reliability, and thermal efficiency, so the IPR2 3000 and all the IPR Series power amps are ready for the most professional of rigs. Each is designed with a resonant switch-mode power supply as well as a high-speed class D topology, yielding incredibly high audio resolution and efficiency.

On top of all-out innovation, the Peavey IPR2 3000 also offers Peavey's exclusive DDT speaker-protection system, with multi-pint clip sampling as well as DC, Temp, Signal, and Active safeguards (all of which are referenced on the front panel via LED indicators).

This Amp ROCKS!

I moved from an older Samson amp which weighed around 40lbs to this beauty. I'm getting more power for only about 10 pounds! Makes my rack much much lighter. The amp itself, aside from putting out a massive amount of power also has a brilliant design (I love the blue backlights inside) If you're looking for a more budget-friendly amplifier that will deliver and rock your socks then look no further!

Very durable

I've had mine for a few years now and I can honestly say it's reliable (as is most peavey gear). I've used it to power two 1x18 subs and two 1x15 mains using the built-in crossover feature for small band gigs, dj gigs, generally PA announcements at small to medium functions and it's always delivered. As I start expanding my rig, I'll be adding more of these awesome power amps to my rack. I definitely recommend them, a great deal for the money!

Can't go wrong

I am the owner of a Pro Audio company in Nj. We have dozens of the IPR-3000 black face and silver face. Oldest units are about 5 years old now. These are mainly used as our monitor amps (monitors are Yorkville e-12) but also they are rented by all walks of life. Not one problem with any of them. We have also installed two at the Barefoot bar in Cape May. This is an outside bar right on the ocean. As expected they work flawlessly. We will continue to buy and use these amps as I love the look, power, sound, durability, weight and they are priced perfect.
