Turbosound's iNSPIRE iP82 is a full-range 2-way passive PA speaker with an 8" woofer and a 1" dome compression driver tweeter that's perfect for small to medium-sized venues such as nightclubs, boardrooms, houses of worship, and more. The iP82's portability and attractive yet roadworthy design make it suitable for a wide range of music and speech sound reinforcement applications. Teamed up with Turbosound's iP12B or iP15B active subwoofers, the iP82 is an ideal choice for front of house satellite speakers. Sweetwater FOH engineers have also found the Turbosound iNSPIRE iP82 to be highly effective for stage lip, balcony, sidefill, and delay line duties.

Superior design, better sound

The Turbosound iNSPIRE iP82 is fitted with an 8" low-frequency driver featuring a low-mass voice coil for superior transient response. Its 1" high-temperature dome compression driver tweeter is mounted on a low-distortion waveguide that delivers an ideal 70 x 70-degree (horizontal x vertical) dispersion pattern. To ensure superior sonics, the drivers are matched with the iP82's internal passive crossover network in a roadworthy, reflex-loaded 5/8" birch plywood enclosure finished in a durable semi-matte black paint finish and equipped with an integrated 35mm pole mount and handle.

Great Speakers ( I used them with the ip12b)

These sound great with the matching turbosound inspire subs. I have the ip12b as these are mainly used inside at a home dj set up. Work great for the purpose, when paired with the ip12b they sound great, plus less cables and hassle.

Rich, punchy and detailed

We replaced our JBL av29s with the these for our DJ setup. They sound rich, detailed and punchy compared to thin and boxy sounding JBLs. The price was on point with free shipping! They can get loud without any distortion. Just a great product. They need a sub though.

Phenomenal speakers for the money!

I purchased four of these to serve as front fills for musical theatre applications and I must say I'm impressed. Their low profile doesn't block sight lines and with a little EQ they reinforce vocals with excellent clarity. It's a bit tricky to find amplifiers that can run at 2ohms (the speakers are 4ohms) so if you're looking to daisy-chain these, consider the amps you will have available. But I highly recommend these speakers.

Great for DJ's

I have these paired with the Turbosound ip12B. this made my life easier. its less cables very rich clean and ungodly loud. In fact i have yet to clip or limit these speakers. The other nice thing is that you can use these interdependently of the ip12B for fill speakers. I would and probably will buy more of these down the line and if your a DJ these will save your back loading in and out.
The ip12B has a separate amp built in to power these or you can use your favorite brand or amp. I have these marched up with a Behringer NX1000 when i'm using them for fills and they just impress.

there are two minor cons but their not so bad i would buy these again.
the first is the protective coating could be better (i'm considering getting them RINO lined) and looking into cases which no one makes at this time.
the second improvement that i see is the speaker pole mount is to tight. I have literally had to hammer them off a pole and even used WD-40 and still not got them off. these are still new to me so i'm working on sanding the pole mount out just to make it looser so it doesn't get stuck.
like i said even with these few flaws i would buy them again and more importantly they sound good and perform good.

No Repair Parts Available

They sound good, if a bit bright. Good match for the iP15b which is how I use them.
But when one took a tumble off a mounting stand and broke its crossover, I was disappointed to learn that there are no repair parts available. After the warranty is over, if anything goes wrong, it's a doorstop. I'll repair the broken crossover myself and keep them in service, but I wouldn't buy them again. There are better choices out there.
