Thomastik was highly recommended for my Rickenbacker 360/12. I had not played flat wound strings before. After a string change and set up I can highly recommend them. They play smooth and maintained the special RIC sound I like. Try them adn I think you will agree.

I have typically used Ernie Ball 12 electric sets because they make a very light gauge (8), but tried these when they were on sale for 39.99. All I can say is 'wow'. I put these on a Ric 12 copy and the feel is perfect. They are definitely low tension style flats.

The absolute best strings for a 12 string guitar.

The strings sound as good as expected and are comfortable to play. Be advised they are fragile. I installed these on a difficult 60s Watkins Sapphire and I was fortunate that I had spares because I broke the E3 and G4 strings just getting them set up and tuned to pitch.

I bought these because all the Rickenbacker FaceBook groups said this was the set to buy if you own a 12-string Rickenbacker. Took mine in for a complete set up and the luthier said these were the best. Picked up my guitar and yep, good decision. I won't buy any other strings for my 12-string Rics.
