Optimal optic freedom
All of the visual magic of the Hydro Beam X12 comes courtesy of an incredible supply of built-in effects. It begins, however, with a high-grade optical glass lens backed by a high-output, 260-watt Phillips Platinum 12R LL MSD Discharge Lamp that’s rated for 6,000 hours of operation. With a 2-degree beam angle and a color temperature of 7,800K, the available 14 dichroic colors and white and split colors with 2-way color wheel scrolling offer a professional vibrancy and brilliance that only ADJ can supply.
In addition to a fantastic variety of colors, an accompanying 16 still gobos and beam-reducing designs with optional shake effects and bidirectional wheel scrolling provide enough creative foundation to meet the needs of any performance. Additionally, 6-facet and 24-facet linear and circular respective prisms are included with 2-way rotation and overlaying options to really polish off any unique stage design. The cherry on top? A bundled frost filter for a more scattered light wash when the show requires it!

In terms of control, the Hyrdro Beam X12 features an onboard 4-button, color LCD display and 0 to 100% smooth dimming capabilities with five dimmer curves and variable speed strobing. Its 540-degree panning (with 16-bit fine pan) and 270-degree tilting (with 16-bit fine tilt) provide total freedom of movement to cover large areas, too. When you want to sharpen your visual displays, a motorized focus function with 16-bit fine focus stands at the ready to fine-tune your light show. And it’s all configurable via RDM and is DMX512 hardwire controllable — or wirelessly controllable — with your separate Wifly EXR Transceiver.
