Great accordion

Great accordion. I use to have when I started 50 year ago my first accordion Weltmaister 48 bass and my second accordion was Weltmaister 120 bass when I was 17 years old. Now 50 years after I love my Hohnica it brings me back to my childhood. Highly recommended for music amateurs like me. Great Customer Service at Sweetwater and they offered me a financing to pay it in 48 months without interests. Just ordered my toy and enjoyed before I made any payment :) :) Great Sweetwater! HENRY MOORE the Customer Service Representative was very kind and involved in this purchase. Great service Henry.

Awesome!

This is my very first accordion, and I absolutely love it! The marbled red body is so pretty and the sound it makes is too! It's also super comfortable to play and the straps are sturdy!

A great value for entry-level accordionists

This accordion will definitely turn heads when you play it. The tone is strong and full and the versatility of how many keys it has is substantial for the price. It comes with a very sturdy bag as well, and the included shoulder straps are decently comfortable as well. I doubt there's many other accordions that can beat this at this price, Hohner definitely deserves its notoriety.

Awesome

This is my first accordion so I'm not an expert, but I love it. I think it sounds very nice and is hella fun to play. There was 1 bass button sticking when I got it but it did ship from cold weather down to Fl and I read that can cause it to stick. My only complaint is the bag it comes with. The zipper pull broke within the first 3 weeks of owning it. I can still get it closed but it could def be better quality.

Terrible starter accordion

Let me preface this by saying that sweetwater was absolutely phenomenal in offering customer support for this product. There was a buzzing noise coming from inside the accordion and they opened two more Hohnica 1305s for me to test and play before walking off with a replacement.

The first accordion I tried had a metallic buzzing noise when playing the A4 and the A5. The second accordion I tried had one bass button that was sticking and a similar buzzing noise to the first although only affecting the A5. The third accordion seemed fine at first but after taking it home and playing for a few hours I discovered that one of the reeds in the lower register was unresponsive. This is generally due to a slight misalignment of the reed in question. After striking out on the Hohnica 1305 three times I would suggest finding a better manufacturer that can offer a quality product from the start, or simply bypassing the starter and purchasing a higher tier accordion.
