The unmistakable roar of the classic all-tube beast coupled with the air-moving power of the legendary 8 x 10" cabinet has defined what we want and expect from serious bass rigs. Ampeg celebrates the lineage of the world's most famous bass amp with the Ampeg Heritage SVT-410HLF, the more compact sibling of the SVT-810E. Crafted using premium components and construction techniques, the Heritage SVT-410HLF is top-notch from top to bottom.

What is Demo Gear?

At Sweetwater, we're so picky that what we call a "demo" is actually better than what most music retailers sell as "new" gear! Our gear hasn't endured hundreds of people a week plunking away at all the keyboards, fumbling through Stairway to Heaven on every guitar or playing with every fader and knob on a mixer or control surface.

What demo means to us is that we've had it out of the box, or maybe it was in a customer's hands for a few days and isn't "factory fresh" as a result. Every demo item we sell has Sweetwater's 2-year Total Confidence Coverage™ warranty, and has been tested and verified up to "new" specs by our factory-authorized technicians to make sure it's in perfect working order before we ship it to you.

When you buy a Demo item at Sweetwater, you get:
  • 2-year Total Confidence Coverage Warranty™!
  • Products inspected and tested by our factory-authorized techs, guaranteed to function like new (or better)!
  • FREE shipping on most items
  • Equipment that will MEET or EXCEED your expectations!

I’ve never heard a better bass cabinet

I've been playing bass for 25 years now, usually a fender am std jazz or precision. Usually always played a svt pro 3 head or a Gk 800rb. I play a lot different style I guess, rock, punk, stuff like fugazi and even Radiohead and of course Led Zeppelin . I guess my natural bass style is somewhere in between all those styles. I've owned the ampeg 4x10 hlf before, it's was sooo good. Then I tried 15's and 8x10s and even an ampeg 1x15 and 4x10 cab. I always seem to get back to the 4x10hlf. So I bought the usa made one, comes with 125 watt eminence speakers as opposed to the 150 watters that come in the 8x10, harder to drive to the rails. The sound with my Svt pro 3 with the gain almost all the way up and the master volume at half is very impressive sounding. The sound is tight, growls and is focused. Very loud and pronounced cabinet. Def worth the money if you have a head that will drive it hard. I'm stoked. I'm 50 years old now, keeping it forever. Thank you to my sales rep Colin, best dude.

Truly the best sounding cabinet I have ever played

This Ampeg Heritage cabinet which is made in the USA with customized Eminence speakers makes my Fender P/J bass bass sing!
You have all the low-end you can possibly want. Yet, the 1-inch variable horn clearly defines your high-end tone with crisp defined notes and beautiful defined color. You can't ask for anything more! I'm powering this cabinet with an Ampeg SVT-3PRO 450-watt tube preamp bass head which is a beautiful match for this amazing cabinet. I have been a customer of Sweetwater for a number of years now and my go-to sales engineer has been Chris Kress. He has helped me with all of my purchases with sound (pun intended) suggestions and has given me the very best in customer support. This cabinet is not for everyone though. Only those who are willing to spend good money for the absolute best in a bass amp cabinet. Thanks again Chris.

Little heavy but worth the effort

Overall this is a great cabinet, very powerful for its weight. This cabinet produces a deep bottom bass Able to shake any room and cut trough the mix. I agree It may be a little heavier than Aguilar's but it's also a little cheaper. And the wheels are of great help. So, with the help of Andy Rice I decided to get this affordable and powerful cabinet which seems it will last for a long time.

Best sounding cabinet I've played

I've had (and still do, I suppose) a fair number of bass cabs, and normally tour with a pair of Mark Bass 4x10s (my back isn't what it used to be). Playing a local outdoor festival several years in a row, I ended up using the "house"-provided SVT-810, and have always been impressed by its tone (waaaay too heavy for me to want to cart it to gigs, though). After reading reviews, I decided to bite the bullet and give this "baby" cab a shot.

It sounds AMAZING paired with my Traynor YBA300. Hands down, I now have the best tone I've ever experienced. It purrs, it growls, it demands attention when I want it to, always with clear, rich tone. I couldn't be happier, unless, maybe... if it was 30 lbs lighter (it's not an 810, but it's still not light).

Very, very happy with this purchase!

Beast

I've had them all, Ampeg 810, GK Neos, Aguilar, Eden, and Ampeg 610. I run an Ampeg 4 pro with various basses, all 5 string. Musician, Tobias, Sadowsky. I bought two of these used, the plan was to stack them. No need. One handles the bottom end better than my 810. Best all around cabinet I've ever played through.
