Vocal Character is a 2-band EQ that adjusts its frequency spectrum EQ curve according to the actual pitch of notes being sung. This unique way of EQ’ing vocals provides a clarity and fullness that other EQs simply lack. Next, the Harrison 32C EQ is famous for its rich and musical character that lends a timeless, vintage vibe to any vocal sound, one that was featured on Michael Jackson’s Thriller, among many other classic records. Other tools onboard Vocal Flow include a de-esser, leveler, chorus, and master controls for I/O and routing. A pair of excellent EQs
Harrison Audio’s Vocal Flow will breathe new life into your vocals from start to finish. Start with Vocal Character, a one-of-a-kind vocal EQ that shifts the EQ curve according to the pitch of the notes of a vocal track, with added controls for Body and Clarity. Next, the Equalizer module, which is modeled after the revered Harrison 32C channel EQ, features four bands with adjustable frequency and gain as well as switchable High/Lowpass Filters.
Silence sibilance and tame transients
Vocal Flow contains a couple of excellent modules for treating both transients and sibilance. Vocal Flow’s De-Esser module is a user-friendly iteration of Harrison’s De-Esser algorithm, and its Leveler is based on the Harrison Mixbus channel strip — both famous for being some of the best tools for their specific purposes.
Arrange your complete vocal chain
Vocal Flow’s Chorus module is derived from the Harrison XT-MG Micro Glide plug-in and adds fullness to any voice. Vocal Flow also features a slapback-style Delay module as well as a wonderfully lush Reverb module. Finally, Vocal Flow’s Master Controls include Input, Output, and Routing controls that let you arrange all Vocal Flow’s modules however you wish.
