Excellent Head Protection

Very well built. I feel for this price it's a decent head case as a custom case + shipping will run you more. I wish Gator did offer a live in style for the head, however the way the case came set up with its modular foam I did not have to change a thing for it to fit my 1987x style head cabinet. Overall very happy with this purchase and you will be too.

Solid!

This case is phenomenal. It is super well made. The case comes with different pieces which are heald in place by Velcro. Genius design in my opinion. You can use many different heads all with the same case just by switching foam pieces. Please note this thing is heavy due to its well made construction. The locking clasps are very high grade. I have total faith in them being in the locked position. My only complaint is this case is wide when trying to hold the handles. The handles pivot flat and it's difficult to carry as one person going through doorways, etc. I definitely can manage the width but some may not be able to do it alone. Five stars on construction and being versatile to fit other heads. It's an expensive investment but totally worth it.

Gator ATA Tour Case

Received my new Gator G-Tour Head - ATA case for my restored/modified vintage 1983 custom Marshall JCM 800 100W amp head and just love it. Dustin Keesbury at Sweetwater always gets me what I want at the best price. I have Gator cases for both of my Fender Twins as well and could not be happier. If you are going to spend $2-3K for an amp head and $1,200-$1,500 for combo amps it only makes good business since to protect your assets... Next purchase will be a Gator case for my Marshall 1960BX cabinet.

Smart Investment

I own a custom USA made Madison Divinity II, I was getting worried that I couldn"t find a good case before touring started. This case fit perfect! It was like it was made for my head, it hugged every corner and I"m absolutely confident that it will protect my head on tour, they don"t make that head anymore so I had to give it the best!
