Wonderful Addition

This Bass GTR are a great addition to my music instruments and recording career. I should say a wonderful one. Great sound, easy to adjust and very handy. Love it everytime i play it and in my latest Album 'Roots' (2021) you can listen it in the smash hits and indie chart topping songs 'How Love Must Be' and 'Afterlife'. Recommended and approved. SWEET!!!

Fantastic Instrument!

I paid extra for the spalted maple top and I get my musician friend's eye's bugging out when they see it. They gasp and say, "It's beautiful!" "Wow!" etc, and that's the reaction I had too. But that's not even the best part of this instrument. I bought a headphone amp and headphones, and the bass is TOO POWERFUL for the headphones with the EQ turned up. So I have to pull the EQ back to almost zero in order to use the headphone amp with it, but it sounds fantastic anyway. I also played it through a Brian May AC30 and it sounded great. It's got a great ring to it. With the EQ there's a tremendous range of tone available with this bass, so there is no shortage. Great instrument. One of my all time favorites.

Nice Bass

Bought this bass to record backing tracks to play acoustic guitar over.
For the money, the fit and finish of this instrument is excellent. The burst and the overall color is excellent. It has a very comfortable neck profile and nice variation of tone is provided with the pickup configuration.
Of course, it is not a high end instrument, but for the cost, I am well pleased with the quality and playability.

Very pretty!

This is my first bass, and I love it. I've got a lot to learn, but I've come a long way in these first few weeks.

The spalted maple top and general fit/finish is unbelievable at the price I paid. Defiantly have not seen a new bass in the price range that compares in build. Only neg is that Ibanez used polymer in a couple of places where I expected metal.

The P pickup is totally clean. Slight hum in the J pickup with the pot past halfway. I'm really not qualified to rate the sound yet, but the sustain and tonal range seem better than alot of $400 pieces that I've sampled locally.

Overall, I think it's a great begginer's bass, and seriously doubt that I will sell it or trade in if I take a step up.
