If you want something that looks cool on stage, this is the rack case you want. If you want to protect your racked item, it is not. The box itself is awesomely sturdy. And the front "amp screen" looking panel isn't terrible. It is Velcrod on, but it's thick enough to be a really good dust cover. The back, however, is another story. There is no way to cover the back. It's just an open box. And I have a Presonus RM 16 and the case isn't quite deep enough for that unit. Anything you have plugged in you'll have to unplug to make it sit flush on a surface (for storage). Pretty frustrating because in my eyes, a rack unit should be a simple open and plug. Not a think that I have to plug in multiple things. And also, again, no cover. Just kinda sucks in that regard.
