Really a 5u!!

OK...I bought this rack case to bring a 4U digital mixer that my band uses for in-ears on a flight. Was able to carry it on even though it's a little over the legal size for most carriers, it DID fit in the overhead bin of a Delta 757, 737. Now the best part is that I was also able to fit a half rack Shure in-ear receiver in the 5th space where there is normally a 1u cover that hides the handle. As long as it's not to deep, a half rack unit will fit. The wheels, handle, zippers are all top quality as well. Love this case!!!

Great Bag

It is 4 spaces, plus there's an extra space for the handle hardware. You can use that space for small things (I put my router, and the overflow of cables in that space. There are back rails too, but you need cage nuts for the back rails. The handles and wheels seem very solid. It makes you feel confident when carrying it, never worrying that it will fall apart. A well made, useful piece of kit.

Good for travel

Purchased this since I do a lot of flying and traveling with gear. Just barely fits in the overhead compartment on 737-700 series plane. Currently have an amp head mounted but still have plenty of room for additional gear. Makes set up and tear down easier while traveling.

I like it, just wish it had more storage

It works great but I wish it had more pockets for storing cables and whatnot. I haven't looked extensively but a preliminary search for storage in the rack was not successful. As of now I'm only using one rack space and I'd like to use some of that other space for storage but I don't want it all clanging around as I roll and carry it. But other than that, no complaints, it works great.
