Built tough!

These Gator speaker poles are the best! Works with a variety of subwoofers and the pressure gas lift makes raising and lowering a breeze.

Double Duty For These Poles Was( A Piece A' Cake)

I was looking for some poles like these and my salesman was looking out for me. I have a pair of TurboSound iQ15 tops along with a pair of TurboSound iQ18 subwoofers. The insert for the poles
on the subs don't have threads and these poles have an adapter that fits right into the insert. I can
raise my 15s on these poles with one hand. I'm also working as FOH engineer for Sonic Freeway a
Metro Detroit based band. Their mains are a pair of QSC KW10 tops and a pair of QSC KW181 subs.
The QSC subs are threaded. So I just unscrew the adapters and screw the poles into the subwoofers.
Talk about impressive here's the band leaders text message the next day.

Hey Mike, you did a good job last night. I also really like those poles you got for the tops. Really nice.
That's the best we've sounded at MASH. That's the club we played at in Ann Arbor, MI. Previously the
speaker tops were at head level and the crowded floor would absorb the sound. The Gator Frameworks
ID Series Speaker Stands got the tops over everyone's heads. And he went on to say:
Oh! And, I wanted to say... I really like your foresight and analytical thinking, that caused you to get those adjustable poles, without us even talking about it!!!! How great is that? I say "fantastic"! You my friend are a team player! Of course you know I let him take the poles that Saturday night with his gear. But then Monday morning I was calling my salesman James Masterson with Hey they worked. Send me another
pair. As usual had them the next day.

GFW-ID-SPKR-ID Series Speaker Sub Poles

These poles are a great for a single person set up. They really help in keeping the old back in good shape. The only fault that I find in the is that the need a little help lifting my 36 lb speakers. I realize that is close to their limits but expected a little more. They also stick in the top hats in my subs. I am going to convert the subs and use the M10 capabilities of this stand.

Not bad, a few small changes would be nice

I purchased two of these poles to go in between 2 Turbosound Milan M15b's and 2 Peavey Impulse 12d's.
The poles appear to be well built, I just have two criticisms. The first is that when I put them in the M15b's they were a little sloppy which caused the 12d's to sit on top at a slight angle which looks funny. The poles fit the 12d's well so no complaint there. The second criticism is that the "assisted piston" that helps lift the speakers isn't strong enough to lift my 12d's up by itself, I has to assist it in doing so but it wasn't difficult.
Because the poles fit the 12d's well and were sloppy in the M15b's, when I first attempted to remove a 12d from the top of the pole, it stuck and I ended up pulling the pole and speaker out together and then it dropped out when I had the speaker in both hands so the pole fell and I couldn't do anything about it. I would highly recommend to anyone that is looking to purchase these, MAKE SURE YOUR SUBWOOFER HAS A THREADED MOUNT so you don't have the problems I had. I'm not sure if other subwoofer mounts would fit this pole better or not, the picture on the box shows JBL speakers so maybe it would fit there subs better.

Won't work with EV ETX18

Really liked the idea of an assisted lift on the pole, appears to be well made, and the lift worked well. However, it does not work well with EV ETX18's as the slip fit cup is too loose for this pole, and the M20 threads can't be used with the larger diameter of the pole. Hopefully this review will help someone else from making the $... mistake I did(had to pay return shipping). I've attached photos that show the 2 degree or so tilt to either side(and front or back at the same time).
