Condition Notes:

This item is in good condition with some signs of use but is in perfect working order. There are a couple scuffs/scratches in the tolex finish on both the left and right side of the unit. One of the preamp tubes have been replaced. The fabric grill on the front of the unit has a bit of a indent around the speaker. One of the screws on the right side of the unit is pressed into the finish a little bit. There are a few scuffs/scratches on the top edge and bottom edge of the foot-switch. Includes all original accessories. This item ships in upgraded Sweetwater packaging.

The Fender GB Hot Rod Deluxe 40-watt combo amplifier sounds sweet, because it was created in collaboration with the world-famous George Benson. The GB Hot Rod Deluxe packs a Jensen C12K 100-watt speaker, which gives you more volume, more bass, and wider coverage than a standard Hot Rod Deluxe. And one of the stock 12AX7 preamp tubes has been replaced with a 12AT7 for a cleaner sound with humbucking pickups. Regardless of what style you play, you'll love the presence, clarity, and tonal range you get with the Fender GB Hot Rod Deluxe 40-watt combo amp in your rig.

Warm Jazz Tone & More

This amp is PERFECT for my needs. Warm tones on the clean side. and has a little CRUNCH on the "dirty" channel.
Perfect for a Jazzer and Pop stuff.

When in doubt.

I have had most Fender amps over the years. I have never been disappointed with the Fender Brand.
I have owned many other brands of gear also. Every time I have dealt with Sweetwater, it has been a pleasant experience. Professional everything all the way.
This George Benson amp and the purchasing of it from Sweetwater has proven to be a 100% positive experience.
The amp is perfect for the small venue, home amp. The volume control is good, It is the right weight and size for my office/ music room. As soon as I figure out how to hook up my Trio+ pedal it will be perfect.
I should add the fact that Rob, my Sweetwater representative, has been over the years very helpful and positive. What a great amp from Fender. I could have bought it at many other places. I choose Sweetwater.
