Decent sound in a very small package

I spent quite a bit of time researching battery powered amps for practice and performance. I have my Kendrick thunder bumper if I need to get big and loud. In my living room having something quick and lightweight with a bit of tone selection is perfect. Most tone is in your hands, anyway. It doesn't have to sound like a big amp (it's not) and a variety of tones can be dialed in that are satisfying for practice and rehearsals on the go. The delay is a fun addition. When I first sat down with the Fly 3 I had some issues getting a good sound and soon realized some fret and intonation problems with my guitar. I grabbed another guitar that I knew was set up correctly and that took care of it. I spent the extra money on the Charge model so I won't have to worry about so many more batteries in the landfill. Don't tell anyone but it also works fine with acoustic for a little boost in a jam circle. I don't expect to use this for gigging of any kind.

Pros - lightweight, fits easily in a backpack. Loud enough and tone enough for practice. Battery powered, rechargeable. Bluetooth connectivity and 1/8" line out makes it very versatile.

Cons - the Charge model is considerably more expensive - should have a basic battery charge level indicator (0-4 bars or such), the tone is typical solid-state.

Nice Mini Amp - Tone Could be Better

Pros - small, light, bluetooth from phone, rechargeable batteries. Cons - sound is a little ear fatiguing after a while, better for leads than rhythm (cords), no bluetooth volume control - must do it from your phone, a but pricy for the added bluetooth and rechargeable batteries. You could get ID Core for almost the same money. If portability is what you are looking for then this is it, I just didn't like the sound enough to keep it but the Fly 3 has a lot of good reviews on it's tone so maybe it's ok for you. For me the sound is #1 so I'm now lookin at a Fender GT Micro wired to a good bluetooth speaker.
