Returns Your Trem to Perfect Pitch Every Time You Dive

A proper setup can smooth over most tuning issues common to a floating tremolo system. But for players who want the maximum in tuning stability from their Floyd Rose or third-party trem, the Floyd Rose Trem-Endus returns your block to the perfect zero point every time you let it go — without detering your ability to pitch up. At Sweetwater, we have found installation and setup to be pretty straightforward. Just install the Trem-Endus inside your trem cavity (screws and felts are included), set the ideal return point, and just like that you've got a mechanical stop to keep your block from hyperextending whenever you dive. Even better, the Trem-Endus features a heavy-duty spring that allows you to pull up without tons of added resistance. All in all, the Floyd Rose Trem-Endus is a simple and affordable way to give you that missing 10% in tuning stability without crippling the way you play.

Note: Curious if the Floyd Rose Trem-Endus will work with your tremolo? Reach out your Sweetwater Sales Engineer at (800) 222-4700.

Perfect for D-Tuna

Tricky to install and set up, but once you finally have it dialed in, you will love it. It also improves sustain quite a bit, which I have not read in other reviews. Those saying it does not work do not have it properly installed/adjusted.

Simple, adjustable stabilizer

For those of us that use a D Tuna, this is exactly what the doctor ordered. It holds just enough tension (which you must adjust) to keep the bridge in place when de tuning. You can still pull up, but there is a significant increase in resistance this way. The only drawback is the screws are super small, and not every drill bit is small enough for them.

what an improvement...

I have bought and sold 4 Strats over the years due to constant tuning issues. I even installed a different brand stabilizer of them with marginal success. I was determined not to buy another Strat.! However, I did buy a new Pro 2 afew months ago with one main difference. I asked the custom department to install this unit. They did, and what a difference...they set the instrument up with the Trem-Endus installed. Now when I play, there is no more all 5 other strings bending with the one I intended to bend.!! What a concept...Let the Sweetwater crew install it, they know what they are doing. Great product!!

Other reviewers are setting it up wrong.

The reviewers on here complaining that it does not return to zero or improve anything, are setting it up completely wrong. You don't just put it against the trem block and hope for the best. The point is to install it against the trem block, AND increase the tension of your springs and the stabilizer spring. This essentially makes the tremolo self-stabilizing without the tension of the strings affecting anything. I've installed this on two Floyd-equipped guitars and it not only improves tuning stability dramatically, but it also allows bending without detuning the other strings.

The point is, this works amazingly well if you actually set it up correctly.

The description is technically correct

What's not said, but expected, is that it stabilizes the bridge against what you do it. It kinda does - sorta. It's a push spring that works in conjunction with the springs that pull to counter string tension.
Stabilizing double stops? Nope. Break a string? It goes out of tune just like before. There's nothing interacting with the block itself. No magnets to tie the spring into the bridge to pull it to zero. So there's nothing pulling it back to zero when tension is decreasing.
Resting your hand on the bridge? It might push back against that IF you set it up perfectly. Spring tension is key to this thing. It's adjustable and you'll have to adjust it. To truly get it right, you'll want 2 of them. Yes, the stock springs will still fit but you better park sure you mount these things perfectly.
For what I want, these won't do and I won't buy any more.
As an aside, you can still do intentional bar flutters. Just make sure the ball tip is only lightly contacting the block and don't use the felt pads.
