Stylish, Stackable Case for Your Snare Drum

Rough handling and soggy weather are no match for your foam-lined Humes & Berg Enduro Pro snare drum case. The Enduro Pro's shell is compromised of a water- and impact-resistant polymer that's shockingly strong — trust us, you can walk on it, sit on it, or toss it in a van with confidence. The Enduro Pro's snug internal foam lining, which resists tearing and coming unbound, protects drums from surface scratches and shocks in transit. You'll feel safe tucking your drums in each night with the Enduro Pro's macho 2" strap and shielded buckle. And thanks to a patented self-stacking design, all Humes & Berg Enduro Pro cases lock into one another, allowing you to pack your full drum kit into the tightest corner of a truck or practice space.

Self-stacking design saves space

The Enduro Pro line's self-stacking molding allows any case — tom to kick drum — to stack on top of another for huge space savings. Outfit your whole kit with Enduro Pro cases, and you won't just enjoy pro-level protection, but also a stylish, non-slip design.

Made with care in Indiana, USA

Humes & Berg has built its reputation on its artist relations and the strength of its cases. Every Humes & Berg Enduro Pro drum case is still manufactured and assembled in East Chicago, Indiana, just as they have been for decades. Sweetwater is proud to be a part of Humes & Berg's proud American heritage.

Humes & Berg Enduro Pro Snare Drum Case Features:

  • Hardshell case for a snare drum
  • 5.5" x 14" (depth x diameter)
  • Sturdy enough to toss in a truck or sit on outside a gig
  • Tough polymer shell resists water, impacts, shocks, and scratches
  • Non-tearing internal foam protects drum finishes and hardware
  • Heat-sealed binding permanently pairs the foam to the shell
  • 2" wide strap competently holds the case closed
  • Recessed strap buckle is shielded from damage
  • Hinged steel handle collapses when not in use
  • Patented self-stacking design saves space at home or on the road
  • Snare throw off tucks into an internal corner to prevent wiggle in transit
  • Made and assembled in Indiana, USA

What is Demo Gear?

At Sweetwater, we're so picky that what we call a "demo" is actually better than what most music retailers sell as "new" gear! Our gear hasn't endured hundreds of people a week plunking away at all the keyboards, fumbling through Stairway to Heaven on every guitar or playing with every fader and knob on a mixer or control surface.

What demo means to us is that we've had it out of the box, or maybe it was in a customer's hands for a few days and isn't "factory fresh" as a result. Every demo item we sell has Sweetwater's 2-year Total Confidence Coverage™ warranty, and has been tested and verified up to "new" specs by our factory-authorized technicians to make sure it's in perfect working order before we ship it to you.

When you buy a Demo item at Sweetwater, you get:
  • 2-year Total Confidence Coverage Warranty™!
  • Products inspected and tested by our factory-authorized techs, guaranteed to function like new (or better)!
  • FREE shipping on most items
  • Equipment that will MEET or EXCEED your expectations!

The snare case that you need.

Yesterday my latest Humes & Berg Enduro Pro case showed up from Sweetwater. I did a count, I currently own sixty-six of their cases, and I have two more on order. (So far.)

I have a good bit of money invested in my drums. (DW Collector's Series and Gretsch USA Custom kits, as well as snares from Craviotto, Dunnett, Joyful Noise, and Noble & Cooley.) They all are in as new condition as they don't go to a gig without being in a Humes and Berg Enduro or Enduro Pro case. I've had stupid things happen over the years. I've had a drum fall out of a truck and bounce on the pavement. I've had a bandmate trip over a cable and knock over a stack of loaded cases. My drums are protected from such stupidity and have been since I bought my first Humes & Berg cases in 1996.

If you have great drums that you care about and you are on the fence about investing in hard cases, consider the possible problems if you don't.

Just Get It

I've seen a video where this has been set on fire, dropped off from high, sat under a truck which is probably at least 4,000 pounds, but besides that why wouldn't you get it? Even if some of the paint comes off that doesn't affect the durability, it's not supposed to look nice it's supposed to protect.

Your definitely getting your money's worth, and when you receive it you'll most definitely rate it a 10/10

Note: Get a solid color like black

Great!

Great case. Not too heavy but sturdy.

Won't return, but just some things to consider before you buy

Cons: Cases showed up scuffed up and paint peeling off of the handles. Not a huge deal - cases get scuffed up, but for a $125, whatever it was, I expected something that didn't look like it had already been through a couple gigs.

Pros: Clearly a sturdy case with sufficient padding - it almost seems too tight at first, but I think they're designed that way to control any jarring.

Bottom line is - I think it's just nature of the beast (concerning cons). The cases will do their job.

I will also leave a review for the 18" x 14" bass drum case. Similar comments about scuffing, but also some other things to consider about what size you might consider.
Music background: Played for 26 years - big into funk, blues, that sorta thing. Love shuffles.
